[08-09-01] German National Championships 2008
David Lucker '09 and Jakob Hensing '10 crossed the language boundary to participate in this year's German Debating Championships in Berlin. After a successful first and second day, it seemed realistic to break to the Quarterfinals, but weak performances in two consecutive Rounds eventually destroyed this hope. This did however not diminish the great experience of the final day, including the Grand Final in the Red Townhall of Berlin. Congratulations to the team of Halle that finally claimed victory in an inspired debate on the motion "This House would reintroduce the Iron Cross".
